Who we are
TidyKin is a home cleaning business in Melbourne. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
When you use our website we collect the details you type into our forms, such as your name, phone, email, postcode and a message.
If you become a client, we also keep details we need to deliver cleaning safely, such as your address, the cleaning plan, care notes you agree to, and visit records.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, give you a price, arrange and deliver cleaning, invoice for our work, employ staff, and meet our legal duties as an aged care worker employer and associated provider.
Photos
Our cleaners photograph clean rooms only. We never photograph people, documents or screens.
Who we share it with
Your Support at Home provider or NDIS plan manager, if they arrange your cleaning. Your family, only with your consent. Service providers that help us run TidyKin, such as secure hosting and email, under confidentiality terms. We never sell your information.
Where we store it
We store personal information in Australia (Sydney) with a secure hosting provider. Access is limited to staff who need it.
How long we keep it
We keep visit, incident and staff screening records for at least 7 years, as aged care rules require. We keep website enquiries that don't go further for up to 2 years.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your information, or make a complaint, by emailing hello@tidykin.com.au. If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
